Before we can change the world we must first change ourselves. The best way to learn how to influence the world is by learning how to influence those around you. As a community, taking control of our local and national offices of government, seeing that the candidates effectively represent us in the National Congress, are of primary importance to us. Voting with a united voice in community elections, we can hold accountable those who would seek to hold office as our representatives and see that our interests are served and not those of the incumbent.

Law Libraries

One of the best sources of legal information for just about anybody with any kind of legal question is the "Lectric Law Library".

This site should be visited by anyone who is even remotely interested in law. The people who put this site together are not only good at what they do, they have a sense of style and humor that makes researching the subject enteraining as well as educational.

Below are a few of the library's departments. But don't stop at any one site... tour the whole place. It's a great place to spend some time.

Places where I hang out.

The following is a list of the places on the web where I like to hang around when I have no particular place to go... which means I'm there a lot. Its a list of web sites that provide a nice mix of fact, fantasy, fun and lots of free stuff to download and play with. After all taking over the world is a serious job that should not be taken too seriously. Besides... some of my best ideas came from sci-fi stories and video games. Before you can realize your dreams, you must first learn to dream.

        The Dominion

The home of the Sci-Fi channel is one of my favorite places to go when I want to see if my mother-ship has returned to rescue me. What many people take to be UFO sightings could really be Mom and Dad coming back to get me after they realized they left me at the last galactic filling station.

The Boston Globe----When I want to touch base with reality and see how the world is doing I like to read the Boston Globe. But frivolous as I am, I still don't like to pay for bad news. I'd rather read it for nothing. Their web site lets me do just that instead of me having to cough up the 50 cents. Since most of the news is totally depressing anyway and isn't worth 2 cents let alone 4 bits, I figure I'm ahead of the game by at least 48 cents every day. At that price it's still one of the best newspapers in the country and a pretty reliable media source.

Court TV ---- Laws are what we use and abuse everyday to to help keep order and determine the tolerable limits of human behavior. Not many people like them, but they are absolutly necessary. Court TV does their best to bring all the action of our court system right into your living room. That beats having to hang around serial killers and the like to meet real criminals. Good links to legal info site that highlight our System of Justice.
